Abstract

The paper deals with the problem of adaptation of fi rst-year students for learning and
professional activity/ The author gives the characteristic of main psychological peculiarities of
the second period of youth and fi rst period of maturity. Special attentional is paid to the results
of professional orientation of young people. The problems of management of person’s behavior
functional state on the basis of knowledge about adaptation peculiarities are discussed.
