The historical context and the logic of the education`s development are analyzed in the article;
it is established that six stages of the evolutional sustainable development of education have been
completed and it is time for the seventh one; the “osvitological” context of each period of the
education`s development is observed; the main problems and the tasks of the modern school
are analyzed; the necessity to search such models of the secondary education that as much as
possible can satisfy man`s educational demands is emphasized.
