THE PROBLEM OF FORMATION OF STUDENT’S SOCIOCULTURAL AND MULTICULTURAL COMPETENCES OF PHILOLOGICAL COURSE

The article deals with the problem of formation of students’ sociocultural and multicultural competence of philological course. It was determined the peculiarities of formation of indicated competences as a part of cultural paradigm. Cultural paradigm of modern education is understood by the author of the article as equal interaction of participants in educational process, which is led to form a motivation and interest of future philologists to the culture of other people, to develop analytical skills which will be necessary while comparing and analyzing cultural events, way of live or mentality of a particular ethnos, to get ready to intercultural interaction in cosmopolitan surrounding. It was systemized different approaches to define a notion «multicultural competence». In the article it was characterized the structure of multicultural competence which is presented as a complex of dynamic and static components. It was considered the process of formation of the notion «sociocultural competence» in pedagogical science. The author analyzed means of formation of multicultural and sociocultural competences at future philologists. It was pointed out that one of the most effective means of formation of sociocultural competence is sociocultural suitcase.Through attention is paid to the fact that sociocultural suitcase allows to cover and plan the whole complex of student’s self-work; it motivates him to choose his own aims and appraises the activity of a student reflectively; it is the basis for control and self-control; it does not limit creativity, responsibility, initiative, teachers’ and pupils’ independence, it assists appearing of a concept of formation definite skills to teach foreign language and its realization.References
