Abstract

MODERN WOMAN TO THE MATERNITY
The paper deals with the practical training of
the woman to the future maternity, that can be
observed as the personoriented process that aimed
at the development of the value and motivational,
informational and cognitive, communicational,
empathetic and emotional components of the
readiness, the effect of which is the acceptance of
the social and psychological role and functions of
the mother by woman, forming the specific
instructional skills, psychological culture of the
communication in family.
The author’s experience of the psychological
work with the future mothers demonstrates that it
is very important for women in this period have the
opportunity to discuss the exciting topics about
pregnancy, birth and first period after delivery. It
is emphasized that psycho diagnostic, consulting
and psycho preventive work of the psychologist
with the family is also very important part of the
process of the woman‘s preparation to the
maternity.
It is developed the program of the psychological
training of the young woman to the future
maternity that provides for the activization of the
person‘s desire for the forming of the own social
maturity, psychological culture and self
development.
