PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS IN THE DESIGN OF PRINTED PRODUCTS IN UKRAINE: HISTORICAL ASPECT

Abstract

Print design - a huge area of knowledge whose elements we can found in every sphere of human activity. Design
comes of native culture so is very important to introduce the cultural component in the programs of education.
Approach to the problem of design of printed products in the country affects its economic position on the external
markets and social importance of school dizayn, structure of design institution. Accordingly, the content of the
educational process for the preparation of specialists in the field of design printed production is one of the important
task of public education. Experience shows us which great importance attached the developed countries to the
questions of education of future professionals in print products design. For more part of 19-20 centuries, development
of design culture in Ukraine was under constant pressure and supervision from Moscow. In Ukraine mid-twentieth
century in design as a field of activity had not supported and even not allowed implementation of national principles.
Even when there began the movement to apply native embodiment in west countries, national characteristics in design
works, in Ukraine for a long time were used old, soviet stereotypes “nationless” averaged design.
Today’s design, which was formed on the basis of the experience of the founders now has some of the
contradictions between the requirements for the organization of the educational process and content of emerging
professional design education. In addition, it has lack of available training and methodological support, between
the need to strengthen the content of design education, and lack of time dedicated to it in the educational and
professional programs.
The article aims to research historical periods of training future design specialists of printed products in Ukraine.
Analysis of scientific and educational literature suggests that training designers as a problem of professional
pedagogy begins explored domestic and foreign scholars in the early twentieth century. The formation and 

development of design education were caused by needs socio-economic, cultural and aesthetic development of society,
increasing demand for production of material specialists design profile.
