THE FORMATION OF SELF EDUCATION COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS FROM MEDICAL COLLEGES IN THE PROCESS OF THE NATURAL SCIENCES TRAINING

Abstract

The author analyzes the content of forming self-educational competence of students of medical colleges by means
the natural science training. Reveals the essence of the concept of «self-educational competence» and «competence
approach». Shows ability and self-educational competence components. Also reveals the essence of the process of
preparation of natural science of students from medical colleges.
Strategic directions of development of modern education necessitated finding pedagogical practice of training
future physicians such approaches are designed to self-development, self-reliance, initiative in their decisions and
actions. During natural science training lays a foundation of clinical minds. During the problem-based learning as
a special type of person-centered developmental education, stimulation carried out internal and external search and
creative activity of students by creating and solving problems, situations, problem situations. The main feature that
characterizes the problem teaching is a way to create problematic.
The most common forms of educational process in the study of natural sciences are lectures, practical and
laboratory classes. In particular, the share attributable to lectures, is 32% of the total number of classroom hours, and
68% of hours given to practical laboratory classes. It should be noted that the absolute priority is given to practical
employment (86%) and only 14% are laboratory studies of medicinal chemistry, biological physics basics and
fundamentals of ecology
