Abstract

The CretoMycenaean and Athenian historical periods are observed in the article; the peculiarities of the
education systems of Sparta and Athens are analyzed; it is stressed the cultural and ideological originality and high
impressive and humanistic educational ideals of antique Greece; it is emphasized the necessity of the civilized and
highly cultured use of the history.
