The acmeological bases of physical education specialists lifelong professional learning: the basic of definitions

Abstract

In the article the author has analyzed on the scientific approach to the essence of definitions interpretation of physical education specialists lifelong professional learning the base definitions of physical education (such as culture, physical culture, physical education, physical education system and the education in the physical culture field) and the definition that reveals both the essence and the specificity of lifelong professional learning, that enables reaching the “acme” as the peak of personal abilities.
To analyze the basic concepts of the study the principles of research problems of continuous professional education as knowledge about the dedication of productive human activity throughout life concepts classification were used. As a basis of “higher education” definition concept the one in the law of Ukraine “On Higher Education” was taken. The notion of “culture” from the interpretation after of Cicero, and G.Skovoroda and to The Great Dictionary of modern Ukrainian language was analyzed. The article presents the analyses of the “physical culture” concept genesis and transformation after the different authors’ publications. The debatable interpretations of “physical education” and “physical education” terms, taking into account their use in the constitutional and legislative acts of the European countries were analyzed.
The author analyzes the interpretation of the term “professional training” either following the Law of Ukraine “About the Higher Education”, or the results of leading scientists. The paper investigates the genesis of studying the idea of “lifelong learning” since the scientists and philosophers of antiquity.
The article deals with the concept of “acme”, characterized by the main feature – being the peak and appears as the highest stage of development; the top, blooming power, perfection; man’s peak of perfection; zenith, prime of human capabilities; top in their chosen profession; peak as a result of activities.
